Japan International Die & Mold Manufacturing Technology Exhibition (INTERMOLD 2019), organized by Japan Die & Mould Industry Association, was held at the Tokyo Big Sight Aomi Exhibition Hall from April 17th to 20th, 2019. The exhibition period has been changed from once a year to twice a year since 2018. It takes place alternately in Osaka and Tokyo in April each year, in Nagoya each June. INTERMOLD has gained powerful support by Japanese official departments including the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Japan External Trade Organization. With a total of 462 exhibitors and 42,585 professional visitors participated in this year, The INTERMOLD has presented a series of latest technology and solutions from mould designing and manufacturing to metal forming, plastic shaping, it becomes the gathering display platform that supporting the technology innovations of Japan die and mould manufacturing industry and related industries.
The lectures regarding electrification and automation was concurrently held during the exhibition, aiming to discuss the future of automotive industry. Mitsuo Nishida, Vice President, Head of Production Technology, and Head of Automotive Division of Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. gave a speech on the theme of "Made in Japan" which provided an excellent opportunity for us to comprehend the future of Japan die and mould industry. Furthermore, special seminars on automobile parts and aircraft parts, as well as technical seminars on machine tools, cutting tools, CAD / CAM, CAE, and measuring instruments were held during the exhibition. These seminars were aiming to introduce the latest development progress of the industry and technology to relevant practitioners from Mould and Metal forming industry.
As the official agents of the exhibition in China, China Die & Mould Industry Association(CDMIA) and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Machinery Sub-Council(CCPIT MSC) has been organized enterprises to participate in the INTERMOLD for 11 years since 2008. The exhibitors attended for this year's INTERMOLD including SHENZHEN SILVER BASIS TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD, Zhejiang Kaihua Mold Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Changhong Technology Co., Ltd., Rayhoo Motor Dies Co., Ltd. and other companies.
